You Guy's Know ...
Not everyone’s a blush lover. For some people, it can be a tricky thing to get right. I was well and truly one of those people when I first started loving makeup but it’s all about finding the blushes that work well for you. Nothing too intense, just a subtle flush of colour. Using a light hand and the right formula can make all the difference to a makeup look and really pull everything together.
For those afraid of blush or those just starting to dip their toes in, these are the blushes you should be checking out.
The kinds of shades that you just can’t get wrong and in formulas that are just too good. where you want to look put together but not too glammed up.
TARTE EXPOSED
One of My all time favourite blushes, I’d say. The reason I love it so much is because it works with everything. It’s a beautiful earthy-nude that works beautifully for just about any skin tone and Tarte’s blush formula can’t be beaten. It’s subtle on the skin but incredibly buildable, it’s pretty much impossible to stuff up – I couldn’t live without it in my collection.
NARS DEEP THROAT
Another one of my favourite blushes – you can tell I’m all about those barely-there shades. NARS Deep Throat is the little sister of NARS Orgasm. Less glittery, less golden and the perfect way to liven up your face without looking OTT. A little bit goes a long way when it comes to making me look wide awake. I’m not crazy about the NARS formula across the whole shade range but Deep Throat is the exception. It’ll always have a place in my blush collection.
RIMMEL PINK ROSE
A newer favourite, replacing the now-discontinued Santa Rose shade from the Rimmel range. This is quickly becoming my favourite blush found in the drugstore aisles. This teeny little brush pan looks like it has a bit of chunky glitter in it but on the cheeks, it’s nowhere to be seen. Pink Rose gives a natural, pinky flush to the cheeks that I just keep reaching for.
MILANI LUMINOSO
I’m not normally one to reach for coral shades, I’ll admit, but the Youtuber-favourite, which made me grab it on a whim in london Milani Luminoso is sometimes just what I need. The baked blush formula from Milani truly deserves all credit – you only need the tiniest dusting on your brush to add a beautiful, healthy glow to your face. If you’re more into coraly, peachy tones over the pinks – this could be the one for you.
