I'm in shade 5.75, which is a medium skin with warm undertone

Texture

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk is super lightweight, with a liquid consistency. as I prefer a slippery liquid foundation that almost glides onto my skin. This way the product won’t stick or bulk up on any blemishes or textural issues.

Coverage

Luminous silk is a medium coverage foundation, but due to its weightless texture coverage it can be sheered out to almost nothing or layered up to a high coverage without losing the natural finish. It concealed my redness well and evened out my skin tone to perfection.

Finish

I used to avoid all foundations that would give a dewy finish, I was terrified of becoming more oily, but that is why I had a particular interest in the Luminous silk, OIL-FREE – no two words could make me more happy. Being able to achieve a ‘natural glow’ without a greasy, thick formula is a dream come true.

The hydrating formula is still matte to the touch but creates a stunning youthful glow. Due to the product having zero SPF, it photographs beautifully, which is a bonus when you’re a blogger, but remember that extra layer of sunscreen when going outside.

Lasting Power 

The product states it lasts a full 15 hours & for me I would say it lasted around 8 – but I think this is due to my skin type. When creating a product for all skin types there has to be some pros and cons with each type. I noticed the product fading around my chin and forehead around hour 7, but I’m sure its nothing a good setting spray can’t fix.
